Who Are We

God's Church International Fellowship is a Council of Churches made up of active Bishops and Senior Pastors presiding over their respective Ministries.  GCIF sees the need to continually collaborate together to assist each other in major functions as ecclesiastical events are deemed necessary.

In GCIF, a Bishop or Pastor serves as the General overseer of their entire church Organization.

In GCIF, Bishops are not "Ordained" as Bishops, but are elected and consecrated to the office of Bishop.  GCIF seeks ways to build our community and the Body of Christ.

GCIF goals encompasses: 

 

1. Developing, establishing and maintaining the sacred consecration of Bishops and ordination of Elders.

 

2. Conducting ecumenical functions, Conduction Annual GCIF General Conference/Banquet, Collaborating and sharing expertise and resources, Reconciling disputes among churches/ministries, Providing Spiritual covering and validation for each member.

 

God's Church International Fellowship has no jurisdiction over the governance and affairs of the local church. GCIF will only appear as a council when invited by a host Bishop or Pastor. GCIF will serve a host church at the request of the Bishop or Pastor in that Ministry.

This Covenant Relationship at its highest level guarantees trust. Prejudices, will give way to the Fellowship and fosters unity sealed with the blood of Christ.

God's Church International Fellowship recognizes the mandate of God in the Lord's Church.

1. To encouraging, build and assist those called to the office of Bishop or Pastor to work in total integrity that the position demands.

2. To establish criteria, qualifications and necessary evaluative evidence for fellowship. Thereby, maintaining the dignity of the Lord’s Church to the glory of God and sustainable standard for the body of Christ.  

3. To serve as a reference/clearinghouse, in developing and maintaining a elder level of leadership. Speaking on behalf of leaders within nations, states and regions of the world.

4. To establish and maintain a network for Kingdom activities of the ministries around the world. Through the network, create and share resources for the advancement of the work of God through worthy and capable leaders

Our Code of Ethics for Members.

The Personal Standard of a Bishop and or Pastor shall at all times:

• Be ever conscious of their high and sacred calling.

• Give diligent attention to their soul in prayer and devotion.

• Give adequate time to study in preparation for their preaching ministry.

• Give first place to the responsibility of their ministerial duties.

• Maintain a high moral standard in both their speech and conduct.

• Strive to be decorous in both manners and personal appearance.

• Always conduct their financial and business transactions above reproach.

• Strive to regulate the demeanor of their own home and family with consistency.

• Give adequate consideration to the care of their own physical fitness.

Pastoral Standard The Bishop and Pastor shall at all times:

• Accept their Bishopric/Pastorate or calling a sacred obligation and faithfully perform their duties.

• Recognize their responsibility as a spiritual shepherd to all their people and to others who have no shepherd that they can reach and assist.

• Conduct their pastoral and ministerial duties at all times as becoming a Christian person.

• Regard their services and ministry as primary and their remuneration and rewards as secondary.

• Whenever possible refrain from other remunerative occupations that would distract from their obligations to the church and their calling.

• Always consider the confidence of others who have confided in them and must never violate it.

• Seek to ever retain high standard for their church/ministry in the community realizing that their conduct and statements are representatives.

Partnership Standard The Bishop and Pastor shall at all times:

• Be a representative of the God's Church International Fellowship

• Churches and its affiliates, and must seek to hold its good reputation.

• Give diligent regards to the welfare of fellow Bishops, Pastors and Ministers and withdraw whenever their presence or conduct creates hardship upon others.

• Seek to enhance and not degrade the work of their predecessor or successor.

• Steadfastly keep guard over their jurisdiction and refrain from giving privileges to any questionable persons.

• Become engaged in only those community activities that have to do with their own ministerial duties.

• Practice ministerial courtesy by refraining from any form of interference in the affairs of another church, such as corresponding with members of said church without consent of the resident Pastor.

• Refrain from inviting into his jurisdiction questionable methods of evangelism that would harm the standards of God's Church International Fellowship and its affiliates or cause undue hardship to a neighboring church.

• Only the Chief Prelate/President of GCIF is allowed to Consecrate Bishops or Ordain Ministers under the banner and Seal of God's Church International Fellowship.
